TobyMac - Til The Day I Die

TobyMac has sold more than 10,000,000 (ten million) albums and won seven Grammy awards. His success is unique to any Christian artist except for MercyMe. 

Temperament that it hits on: Choleric 

Til The Day I Die hits on my choleric because cholerics tend to be very strong willed, and it takes a strong will to praise God even to the point of martyrdom (being killed for the Faith). 

I hope that I will be able to persevere to the end and give God all my love until the point of my death. 

Chuck Berry - Brown Eyed Handsome Man

It's kind of interesting that everyone seems to forget how good the piano music was in most Chuck Berry songs. Johnny Johnson, the pianist, teamed up with Berry and his unique guitar sound to produce many a hit. 

Temperament that it hits on: Sanguine 

Brown Eyed Handsome Man hits on my sanguine because it is fast paced and energetic. The line about the brown eyed handsome man hitting the home run gets me a little excited too, as I first heard it from one of my favorite songs, Centerfield by John Fogerty (which was published on this blog a while back). 

Other than John Fogerty's use of this song, it is one of the most covered songs that I have ever heard. Even rock and roll legend and contemporary Buddy Holly made his own version. Chuck Berry's is the original, though.
